ABOUT “BIG RED”
Cory “Big Red” Milton was taken from us way too early, but in the face of travesty the Milton’s decided to turn a very unfortunate accident and turn it into a living memory. The Big Red Memorial Poker Run is a non-for-profit that donates all proceeds to our local, youth athletes. We donate directly to individuals in need by an application process.
Just to name a few we’ve happily helped: Groton Mystic Youth Football, New London Youth Football, New London Babe Ruth, Groton Babe Ruth, Groton Youth Soccer, Fitch High School Football, Fitch High School Fencing, Fitch High School Track, Ledyard Football, New London High School Football, Stonington Youth Football, Stonington Youth Soccer, Stonington Seals Lacrosse, Groton Parks Recreation, and Waterford Basketball. The Big Red Fund has also helped send a few children to cheer-leading camp and soccer camp.
